Great site for discount gift cards!
If you are into using gift cards and are looking for a discount way of finding them. This is a site that I have found. I have not actually used it myself, but then again, I just found it and have not had the time to get any vitacost coupons yet. It really does seem like a great way though to save some money on some online orders at a favorite site or store!
Love to hear any Black Friday Stories!
I didn't get to actually go out shopping for Black Friday. My whole family was being nursed back to health since we were all sick for Thanksgiving:( But I would love to hear any stories about Black Friday or what you were able to snag!

New Cell
I have really started thinking about Christmas presents now that Thanksgiving is almost here. There really is not that much that I would want myself, but I would really like to get a new cell phone. I was checking out the new htc desire. Thought it was a really nice looking phone with lots of really cool features. If I don't get one this year, then maybe when tax season comes, I can possibly get a new cell phone!
Microwave and stove RIP
My 4 and 2 year olds killed my microwave and my nice newer stove. They for some reason thought that it would be fun to spray the water hose from the sink all over the kitchen and those two digital appliances did not make it:( I am so upset! And I had to order a Thanksgiving dinner from Publix since I can not cook it at home. Now I am again on the lookout for good barely used stove and microwave!
Christmas present for a spoiled 7 year old
I am trying to think of something nice to get my oldest son for Christmas this year. We already have a gaming system (PS3) and he gets on our computer too. He has started to show some interest in music and he LOVES the Beatles (such a sweet mommy's boy:)so I was thinking of checking out some nice ipods. He really likes all of the little digital gadgets, so I was thinking that this might be something that he would love this year for Christmas.
Family is finally home
My husband took my now 7 year old to the gun range to shoot for the first time today. Needless to say, he really loved it. He has a smile as wide as his face:) My husband is really happy too. This is the first of our 3 sons to be able to go with hubby to do his big hobby. I think this is the whole reason that he wanted sons...lol
Black Friday is just around the corner!
I am so looking forward to getting a few nice presents for my kids this year. We are just getting a few things this year, but we have decided to get really nice things. Nothing just to make sure the kids can open a present that will just end up on the floor. Being in nursing school and having three kids to buy for that are always attached at my hip makes it hard to shop for them for Christmas. So I have decided to spend Black Friday shopping from the comfort of my own home while the kids are outside playing:)
The weekend is almost over!
I can't believe that the weekend is almost over! Where did all the time go? My kids will be out of school this week for Thanksgiving and I have one day of class with a test of course and one day of clinical. So short week for me too! I am so looking forward to a little bit of time off and just trying to get my house back into shape. I am so tired of not having the time to clean my house and enjoy it!
Giving thanks
I just wanted to remind everyone this Thanksgiving season to remember to give thanks for everything that we have. I don't have a working stove thanks to my son spraying the digital controls with water, I don't have a working microwave for the same reason. BUT, I do have my kids, they are healthy, happy and smart. Nobody in my family is very ill or having to go through opiate detox. So I do feel very fortunate. My husband also has a job so I do feel very thankful for that too!
What are you thankful for?

Out of shape!
One of the many things that I have realized since starting my nursing classes is, that I am an emotional eater. Of course emotions run high in nursing school with all of the tests, quizzes, clincal and not getting much sleep. I have been gaining weight lately and so has eveyone else in my class. I can not wait until my class is done, one of the things that I plan on purchasing is a nice set of good fitness equipment so that I can get back into shape and be healthy again!
Christmas shopping
So, now that my son's birthday is practically behind me, I can start to think about Christmas shopping. I am running way behind this year from what I normally am at. Usually, I have everything bought by now! Being in nursing school as really messed me up when it comes to time or money for that matter! I can't wait until next year when I will hopefully have more of both:)
Skin Care
With all of the stress of going to nursing school, my face is paying the price for it right now. I am on the lookout for some really good acne products. I have not had any pimples since I was just out of High School, but now they are back. Before, I thought it was from having bangs or from using hair spray, but I guess I was wrong because I don't have bangs and I don't use hair spray in my hair either.
Netflix
One thing that we just figured out, is that you don't really need cable! We have a PS3, and we are able to watch Netflix with it and there are so many really good movies and even children's TV shows that I don't even miss having cable! And it is just $10 a month for the service too! You really can not beat that. In this economy, every penny counts too, we are so happy with it!
Heathy stuff
One of the most important things that a woman can do when she is pregnant is to make sure that she takes her prenatal vitamins. I know that I sure did and have 3 really healthy boys to show for it! One thing that I did not think of though, but wish that I had, is natural prenatal vitamins. I mean, to me, that sounds even more healthy. Would love to hear from anyone that has actually taken them too!
Save some cash!
So, today my oldest son turned 7 and we wanted to do something special but didn't have a whole lot of money to spend. We decided to head on out to Jacksonville to Chuckycheese's. We ended up spending $50 for pizza, drinks (with the optional plastic cups), a cake and over 150 tokens. Not too bad for entertainment and food with the cake too! We got 20 free tokens just for my son having a great report card and then I went to the website http://www.chuckecheese.com and signed up for the email list and got more printable tokens. One of them we bought 60 tokens for $15 and got another 40 free! Plus we got 30 tokens with our pizza meal. So we had enough tokens to keep everyone busy for 2 whole hours of playing. I think it was a great deal and lots of great memories made:)
Nursing School!
So, most of you readers know that I am now in nursing school. Hopefully I will be graduating in April (as long as I continue to pass all of my classes). One thing that I have noticed, is that I do a lot better in my classes when I highlight notes in it. One thing that I was thinking about is that, with so many students in college that potentially will make good money soon, one great way to advertise a business would be with some good promotional highlighters. I mean, most of the students that do well, would use them!
Back yet again!
Well, it has been a little while since I have written in my blog. I have really missed it too! I have been sooo busy with my 3 little boys and nursing school, it has been really hard to do anything just for me though. But I have decided that I am going to start doing it again though, because I just miss and enjoy it soo much!
